Well, nothing fancy here, and this isn't exactly something that is easy for me to do, but I know there are people out there with the care for others and with the ability to do things about it, so I've gotten to the point I wish to ask for the assistance of others.

Having been out of work for over two years now is difficult enough. Then, my wife finds her job has been cut in hours per day to about half, with no prospect of a change in this condition for the foreseeable future. Then on top of all that are the medical concerns for my health. For those unfamiliar with such, in summary, I've reached End Stage Renal Disease (my kidneys have failed) and I am on dialysis for the time being. I am working on getting my name active on the transplant list, but this will entail my having to go through major surgery for both a kidney transplant, and a pancreas transplant. The latter being for my 25 years of Type I diabetes. This diabetes is also the reason I have gone blind in one eye (a failed surgery to attempt to correct my vision). The dialysis leaves me constantly tired, at least it feels like to me. I go through quite a lot of medications and doctor visits nowadays, and already have accumulated debt to deal with. It's a real struggle, and I am loathe to get rid of everything I enjoy doing for fun just to save every penny I can to pay bills with.
