Why does Tapestries not have a 'hug' command?

Hug, and it's ilk (eat, nuzzle, etc. etc.) don't exist on Tapestries MUCK for several reasons:

They are spammy. They tend to encorage people to walk into a room and start a macro-hug-fest that, in busy rooms, can make the place unusuable.

They are inflexible. People on Tapestries MUCK are expected to learn how to pose, and anything that can be done with "hug" can be done with a ":".

And, really, if the difference between "hug" and ":hugs so-and-so." means some one does not do it, they probably didn't really mean it in the first place.
