When I page so-and-so, someone with a similar name gets the page! How do I fix it?

This is a known problem with our current page program. Please don't report it to anyone.  

Here is the quick fix: Set up a page-alias for the person you want to page.

For example, if you're trying to page 'BigRedDog' you might be typing 'page bigred=Hi!'. To prevent your page from going to 'BigRedCat' or 'BigRedBird' or 'BigRed' plain, you will need to make a personal 'shortcut' to the name.

page #alias brd=BigRedDog

You can use any string you like as your 'shortcut' and you can point it to any person you like. Please check out 'page #help2' for details, and contact a technical support staff member (type 'helpstaff' for a list) for assistance.
