To recover a lost password on Tapestries MUCK you must have the following:
- Access to one of these: The original email address the account was registered from, OR the last email address you entered with @email, OR access to the character (this is a possibility for some people with clients that hide passwords.)
- AND you must have logged into the character at least once in the past.
- AND you must have the name or dbref of your character.
As such it is very important that you keep your email address up to date. You can do that with the @email program, and you will be prompted to do so on login once every month.

If you do not have the required access, we will be unable to help you, and you will need to register a new character.
