I notice that everything in this category is prefaced with "Policy". Perhaps it would make sense to make a [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Custom_namespaces custom namespace] for such documents instead? This would function in a similar way to the existing Tapestries MUCK namespace, providing separate [http://www.fur.com/tapestries/wiki/index.php?title=Special%3AAllpages&from=&namespace=4 lists of pages] and [http://www.fur.com/tapestries/wiki/index.php?title=Special%3ARecentchanges&namespace=4 recent changes]. Good for keeping an eye on key pages without being overwhelmed by the main [[Special:Recentchanges|Recent changes]] list (changes would still appear there too). I notice that everything in this category is prefaced with "Policy". Perhaps it would make sense to make a custom namespace for such documents instead? This would function in a similar way to the existing Tapestries MUCK namespace, providing separate lists of pages and recent changes. Good for keeping an eye on key pages without being overwhelmed by the main Recent changes list (changes would still appear there too). It's possible to restrict edits to particular namespaces, too, though I don't necessarily recommend that. GreenKai 22:30, 31 March 2007 (PDT)

Right now all the policy related pages are marked protected. I am the only person who needs to edit them, so I don't really need to keep track of them. So I'm not sure what using a separate namespace would buy me? WhiteWizard 04:42, 1 April 2007 (PDT)
