Tapestries MUCK runs the TinyMUCK FB software, and as such is accessible through the telnet protocol. While you can use basic telnet programs as provided by Unix or Windows, we strongly suggest you find a MUCK Client program to connect. That will give you a much more enjoyable experience.

Please note that you will need to read the Policies and create a character before you can connect. Please note: The Forums and Wiki use a separate account system from the Muck at this time, creating an account with them will not create you a character on the Muck.

Address

  • Tapestries MUCK runs at the address tapestries.fur.com on port 2069 for standard telnet access.
  • Tapestries MUCK runs at the address tapestries.fur.com on port 6699 for SSL access.

We do not recomend that you use the IP address unless you really have to, but it is 74.82.5.42. This is subject to change without notice.

MUCK Client programs (or telnet) will need to know this information.
