Existing building applications

From Tapestries MUCK

Jump to: navigation, search

It's nice to see new areas being mulled, but I hope something can be done for existing applications in the building queue. Wildhaven Park, for example, has had a completed application since mid-2007, and since the demise of the Rescue Center there isn't really anywhere designed for "feral" characters to feel at home; nor can ad-hoc areas be created without threat of sanction. The same could be said for the Orchids Cafe, which caters to an under-served minority on Tapestries.

While some of these applications may fit into the mould of a strict-RP-focussed area, many do not, and I'd be disappointed if the only way to see them created was for them to become one. I'm not saying this should fall on your shoulders specifically, but I'd hope the leadership worked to resolve issues for existing members before seeking to attract new ones. Many people prefer to use RP-centric MUCKs nowadays, but that's in large part because the building queue has been moribund for all groups.

Tapestries doesn't need fast-tracking for special projects; it needs a single track that works. There was a burst of activity earlier this year. It wouldn't take all that much to get things going again.
