Mission Statement
Tapestries MUCK is a cross between a real life BDSM play party, a free form roleplaying environment, and a social gathering place all within a Furry theme. It strives to provide a place for safe and free exploration of dominance and submission roleplay, as well as other forms of sexual expression in public and in private. Tapestries facilitates this by providing an environment that is populated exclusively by adult players and furry characters, as well as by setting guidelines that encourage tolerance and respect of other's fantasies and beliefs.
The Game
Tapestries MUCK is, as it's name implies, a MUCK. A MUCK is an online role-playing game that is usually text-based and accessible through telnet, as well as a variety of MUCK Clients. The term MUCK doesn't actually stand for anything, but is rather a play on the word "MUD", which stands for "Multi User Dungeon/Domain". However, the popular backronym for MUCK is "Multi-User Created Kingdom".
The Environment
Roleplaying is centered around the town of Layleaux and it's surrounding areas in a fictitious fantasy world of Curuoskar that has social norms very different from anything seen in the real one to allow for the mission of the Muck.
