Propdir

A propdir, or prop directory, is simply a directory containing properties. You can "browse" propdirs by using the examine command on something followed by "=/" or "=some/prop/dir".

Special Propdirs

_msgmacs By placing things inside the _msgmacs propdir, you can easily call them by name. For example:

@set me=eyecolor:{prop:_somepropdir/eyecolor} «- Would allow you to use {eyecolor} in place of {prop:_somepropdir/eyecolor}

_details The _details propdir is used for creating things that you can lookat on players, objects, rooms, etc. For example, you could describe a lamp or your eyes like this:

_details/lamp:The lamp is a fancy looking antique

_details/eyes:{name:{owner:this}}'s eyes are {eyecolor}.
