Zombies, also known as puppets and also possible to behave as vehicles, on a MU*, are objects made with @create that are being controlled remotely with the {force} MPI, thanks to the Forceable flag (X). That way, a well coded object could appear to simply be another player and act accordingly. To prevent its abuse and its system-intensive problems, those were disabled on Tapestries MUCK.
To offset this, however, know that limitless alternate characters are permitted which would boil down to a very similar result. Spoof is also a command to look into when you want the extra 'character' to act.
